| Some
call this the TV 214, others the model 521. Either way this is
one of the few Accutron designs that launched the brand back in
1960. The dial has a little spotting but is completely original
unlike so many others available at auction. Most of the original
finish remains on the caseback and the case has never been polished so
all the edges are as crisp as original. The movement is an
original 1960 movement which were not date coded and the solid 14 karat
gold case is date coded M0 (1960). It comes complete with a brown
crocodile strap from Watch
Bands by Fox. $750 #A41GM0 - SOLD Dial: Very Fine (7.5/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |

| Here

back to wonderful condition. It has a nickel movement and 3-wire
coil set. The movement
is date coded M5 (1965) and the case is date coded M5 (1965). It
comes
complete with a green crocodile strap from Watch
Bands by Fox. $650 #S41SM5 - SOLD Dial: Near Mint (9.5/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |

The chapter ring shows no signs of age and the case has no heavy dents
or scratches. It has a nickel movement and 3-wire coil set.

| Here
is yet another great example of this
popular watch and they newver fail to please or get attantion.
The blue markers on the black dial with the
matching blue tuning fork logo second hand results in a distinctive
timepiece. The stainless steel case is date coded M9 (1969) and
the 2182 movement is date coded N0 (1970). It comes complete with
a black lizard grain strap. $350 #O82SM9-B24 - SOLD Dial: Near Mint (9.5/10) Case: Very Fine (7.5/10) |

| This Astronaut is going to make
a great addition to some lucky buyer's collection. This watch is
complete with the original coffin link bracelet, inner and outer boxes,
and papers. Just take a look at the pictures and imagine how
great this will look on the wrist. The case is date coded M5
(1965) and the movement is date coded M4 (1964). $900 #A4NSM5 - SOLD Dial: Mint (10/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |

| Bulova had a knack for using
every part they ever made. Take a look at the pictures, and
especially the close-up of the case back markings, and you'll see two
date codes. The original M9 (1969) is centered and easy to
read. The lighter one is N2 (1972). Taken together we know
that the case back was originally made in 1969 but this watch was not
finished until 1972. The N2 (1972) date coded movement proves
that this is so. I can only speculate why this watch was
completed about a year after the regular production of over/under
day/dates had ceased. Another great detail is the very rare
original bracelet on this watch. So rare that I have only seen
one other in the past 4 years. While most Accutron bracelets were
made by either Kreisler or Champion in the United States, this one was
made by DREMA in Japan. $450 #O82SN2 Dial: Near Mint (9.5/10) Case: Near Mint (9/10) |
|
| This is a fantastic Accutron 214
with the original Admiral bracelet. Everything is bright and
shiny and scratch free and the hands are bright white, not aged at
all. The pictures of this watch speak volumes so I will just add
that the case is date coded N0 (1970) and the movement N0 (1970).
Sadly none of the boxes or papers accompany this fine piece but I know
you will prefer to wear it than shut it away. $700 #R41SN0 - SOLD Dial: Mint (10/10) Case: Mint (10/10) |

| I only get two or three Accutron
Deep Sea diving watches a year to offer for sale and this is number
three and the nicest one yet. The bezels of these watches are the
most critical for valuing them since they are so open to damage over
the years. The bezel on this watch is perfect as is the dial and
I
will install a brand new old stock crystal due to the heavy scratches
in the one on it now. Both the case and movement are date coded
N0 (1970) and the watch comes complete with a shark skin strap from Watch
Bands by Fox. PRICE REDUCTION $450 #D81SN0 Dial: Mint (10/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |

| This is one of the rarest of the
solid gold 214 models, a round case with T lugs Bulova Reference number
500. The other solid
gold T lug 214 model, sometimes referred to as the "tilty football" is
almost common in comparison. The dial has a couple of minor
defects consisting of a small pinpoint inside of the 10 o'clock marker
and a light line between the 5 and 6 o'clock markers which is hard to
see. Both the case and movement are date coded M2 (1962) making
this Accutron approximately 43 years old! This watch comes
complete with
a black crocodile strap from Watch
Bands by Fox. $800 #T41GM2 Dial: Very Fine (7.5/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |

| Here is a great Accutron 214 in
a stainless steel bow tie case. This example has survived in
fantastic shape and, with care, it should provide another 38 years of
faithful service. The case is date coded M6 (1966) and the
movement M7 (1967). It comes with a modern, black, fully stitched
Bulova lizard grain strap or I can provide one from Watch
Bands by Fox at my cost. $350 #B41SM6 - SOLD Dial: Near Mint (9.5/10) Case: Near Mint (9/10) |

| This is a very nice, silver dial
over/under day/date. The only mark on the dial is a little line
just above the hubs of the hands, between the center of the dial and
the day of the week window. It is captured too well in the
close-up of the dial, I had to get a loupe to verify it was
there.
Everything else is just lint. The dial's lacquer has also become
a little golden from age. The case is date coded M9 (1969) and
the movement N0 (1970) and it has a black, stitched leather strap
with lizard grain. $300 #O82SM9-S Dial: Excellent (8/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |

| Here is another model I have not
had the chance to offer before. These oval 214s have been quite
popular but unfortunately so many have been converted to Space
Views. You may also know this watch with a dark blue and black
dial but this variation is not as common. It is very handsome and
quite dressy for a stainless steel watch. This is some light
foxing on the dial that shows up very well in the pictures but is
difficult to see in person. Both the case and movement are date
coded N1 (1971) and it comes with a black lizard grain strap. $300 #O41SN1 - SOLD Dial: Very Fine (7.5/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |
|
| How much can you really say
about a New Old Stock Swiss 218 with the original bracelet, boxes, and
papers? I'm not even going to try except to say the case is date
coded M8 (1968) and the Swiss 218D movement is not date coded. $400 #R8DYM8 Dial: Mint (10/10) Case: Mint (10/10) |
|
| This is the exact compliment to
the watch above except in stainless steel and not NOS. But it is
still a great piece with the original bracelet. The case is date
coded M8 (1968) and the movement is an undated Swiss 218D. $300 #R8DSM8 - SOLD Dial: Mint (10/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |
|
| I like this model so much I
finally held one aside for myself. They look so much better with
dials but so many have been chopped up and converted to Space
Views. Well, not here. I am a purist so I offer Accutrons
as they were meant to be and they are perfect just as they are.
The case and movement of this watch are date coded M5 (1965) and
while there is some VERY light foxing on the dial it doesn't even show
up in the photos. I have fitted it with a NOS Accutron genuine
lizard strap from the mid-1970s. $350 #C41FM5 Dial: Excellent (8/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |
|
| This is a great example of the
highly sought after Accutron 214 with Pulsation dial. It is used
to determine a patients pulse by starting to count when the second hand
reaches 12 or 6 o'clock. When 20 pulses have been counted, the
heartbeats per minute can be read directly from the outer scale.
Both the 10 karat gold filled case and movement are date coded M5
(1965) and the dial is absolutely mint. It comes with a black
crocodile strap from Watch
Bands by Fox. $700 #P41FM5 - SOLD Dial: Mint (10/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |
|
| This is a very nice 10 karat
gold filled Accutron 214 with the original bracelet. This watch
looks great with a suit or anytime you want to dress up a bit. The
bracelet is 10 karat gold filled trim manufactured by Duchess.
The case is date coded M9 (1969) and the movement is date coded N0
(1970). Not just another fine 214. $350 #R41FM9 Dial: Excellent (8.5/10) Case: Excellent (8/10) |
