| This is a great,
yet still dirty, example of a LARGE (38 mm wide x 42 mm long) Accutron
Space View. Both the case and movement are date coded N0 (1970)
and is going to make someone very happy. I haven't ordered a strap
for it yet, but the last Space View I sold went out with a green crocodile
strap that looked great on it but the watch is so impressive I don't think
any strap could make it look bad.

| Here is a watch that is going
to find an important position in someone's collection. This fine
Accutron 214 was made during the first year of Accutron production in
1960. Even the movement is original 1960 production and is correctly
NOT date coded. The case, as can be seen in the additional pictures,
is date coded M0 (1960) and was made by the Star Watch Case Company (fully
marked inside) and is stainless steel with 14kt gold inlays. The
setting mechanism in these watches, from 1960, work a little differently
than all other 214s. You lift the lever as usual, but the crown must
be pushed in, with a click, to return it to the running position. The
case measures 33.5 mm wide and 39.5 mm lug to lug. How about a black
crocodile strap on this one?

| Here is an Accutron that collectors search
for far and wide. The top crown rotates the bezel imprinted with
19 locations from around the world for quick, direct read of the time
almost anywhere around the globe. This truly rare model is in stunning
condition AND comes with the original bracelet! The stainless steel
case is date coded N0 and the 2182 movement is date coded N1 (1971). I
doubt that this one will make it to the Sales page because someone is going
to put it on hold before I get to overhauling it. $600 #W82SN0 Dial: Near Mint (9.5/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |

| Here is one of the most popular Accutrons
amongst collectors. It was an attempt by Bulova to cash in on the
success of the 214 Space Views but it was a flop. As a result, they
were made for only about a year and there are few to be found. The
2181 movement is date coded M9 (1969) and is housed in a 14 karat gold filled
case, date coded M8 (1968). It is all original but the dial has been
refinished. Once I have overhauled it, I will put a black, genuine
crocodile strap on it as the perfect compliment. $400 #S81FM8 - ON HOLD Dial: Near Mint (9.5/10, refinished) Case: Excellent (8/10) |

| Well, when it rains, it pours. But
here, that's a good thing. This 218 Space View is completely original
and is in wonderful condition. Not much to say about this that
you don't already know except that the movement is date coded N0 (1970)
and the 14 karat gold filled case is dated coded M9 (1969). I doubt
that either one of these will get to the sales page, so if you have wanted
one for your collection, don't wait too long. $500 #S81FM9 Dial: Near Mint (9.5/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |

| Is there really anything that needs to be said
about a solid gold Accutron 214? Other that stating it still has its
solid gold setting crown and battery hatch, the case is date coded M5 (1965)
and the movement is date coded M4 (1964). I will send it with a genuine
brown crocodile strap so that it is ready for immediate enjoyment. $550 #R41GM5 Dial: Near Mint (9/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |

| This is a watch that never fails to please the
collector, and when it has the original bracelet, it's really something
special. The case of this beauty is date coded M8 (1968) and the movement
is date coded M9 (1969). While it is dirty right now, it will not be
when it arrives at your door. $375 #A41SM8 Dial: Near Mint (9/10) Case: Excellent (8.5/10) |

| This watch was found in a jewelry store in nearly
New Old Stock condition. Other than a few light handling marks it
appears to have never been worn. The original finish is completely
intact everywhere and the original box comes with it. A very rare find
from ca. 1970. The case is date coded N0 (1970) and the 2182 movement
is date coded N1 (1971). The original bracelet contains all the original
links and is just as stunning as the watch. $750 #W82SN1 Dial: Mint (10/10) Case: Near Mint (9.9/10) |
|
| I guess the joke is on me. I have never
seen so many of this model in one place before, not even a National Convention
of the NAWCC. The only unfortunate detail about this watch is that
the dial is also refinished. However, it was done to my standards and
the printing die was made from a photograph of my personal Accutron 218
Space View. Unless otherwise requested, I ship these with a genuine
crocodile strap. I think they just look best that way. $400 #S81FM8-2 Dial: Near Mint (9.5/10, refinished) Case: Excellent (8/10) |

| Asymmetric wrist watches have been popular among collectors
even though most were sales failures when they were new. This
is one asymmetric design that was a comparative success for the Accutron
line. The first incarnation debuted in the first year of production
in 1960 and through it's life was made in all stainless, stainless
and 14 kt gold, and like this one date coded M8 (1968) with a 10 kt
gold filled bezel. The
freshly serviced
214 movement is dated coded M8 (1968) as well and runs great
with a 387S silver oxide battery. The perfect strap for this
watch is a padded crocodile strap from
Watch Bands by Fox
but I do have an original bracelet for this watch that will
fit up to a 7 1/4 inch wrist for an additional
$50 .
